Cart Rentals

Delivery & Returns

  • Yes! All rentals can be delivered and picked up within 200 miles from our locations.

  • Deliveries are generally between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Times are not guaranteed, and confirmation calls are made the day before to establish a more accurate ETA.

  • Yes, rentals can be picked up at any of our three locations. Please call a day or two ahead to schedule a pick up time.

  • Typically in the morning after the final rental day. Times may vary based on delivery schedules.

  • By the agreed-upon date and time, or additional charges apply.

  • Daily rental rates continue to apply until the cart is returned.

Usage & Restrictions

  • Carts are street-legal on roads with speed limits of 35 mph or less. Because they are DOT certified vehicles, they are not allowed on beaches, sidewalks, or bike paths.

  • Only individuals 18+ with a valid driver’s license may operate the rental carts. Moped licenses, learner’s permits, or provisional licenses are not accepted for rentals.

  • Yes. Lights must be turned on after sunset, and quiet hours in residential areas must be observed.

  • One person per seat. All passengers must remain seated while the cart is in motion with seatbelts on.

Rules & Conduct

  • Yes: reckless driving, horseplay, racing, or misuse will result in immediate loss of rental privileges with no refund. No playing chicken with the rentals.

  • The rental agreement will be terminated immediately with no refund.

  • No. Alcohol is strictly prohibited. Operating under the influence results in immediate loss of rental privileges without a refund.

Damage, Insurance & Deposits

  • Yes, renters must carry appropriate insurance during the rental period.

  • A security deposit may be required for fleet rentals or for certain types of events or locations, otherwise no security deposit is required.

  • Repair costs are deducted from the security deposit, and any excess costs are charged to the renter.

  • The cart must be returned in the same condition as rented. Any damage will result in repair charges. Please refer to the “Equipment Damages” tab under "Policies” on the RENTAL PAGE for some fees assigned to specific damages.

Fees & Extensions

  • Yes, unless other arrangements are made in advance. Weekends and holidays are chargeable.

  • Contact New Tech Carts before the return date to request an extension. Additional charges may apply.

Safety & Assistance

  • A representative over the age of 18 must be present to learn how to operate the cart.

  • Report any malfunctions to management immediately so we can help to resolve the issue.

  • We will provide you with an after hours contact phone number at the time of your rental.
