Don’t worry, you’re not the first to ask! “LSV” stands for “low-speed vehicle”. LSVs are street-legal vehicles meeting federal safety standards (lights, mirrors, seatbelts, 35 mph roads) requiring registration with the DOT. Recreational carts aka golf carts are electric vehicles that don’t have these requirements. Here at New Tech, we use these terms interchangeably as all our vehicles are road-certified, but technically speaking they are LSVs.

There are several benefits to utilizing an electric vehicle over similar gas options. There’s virtually no vehicle maintenance besides plugging in the battery to recharge (no oil changes, motor maintenance, gas station runs, etc.) Electric vehicles create less of a disturbance to the environment, including noise (we’re looking at you, hunters!) Electric vehicles are also more economical to manufacture, passing those savings on down to you. And did we mention no need to pay for gas?

Each location is equipped with an indoor show room for you to see the vehicles in person, and both the Cottage Grove and Wisconsin Dells location have plenty of indoor space to take them for a spin! Richland Center is brand new this year, indoor test drive space is in the works!
